MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Will Milam today announced endorsements from Maryland State Senators Will Smith (D-20) and Jeff Waldstreicher (D-18), along with Maryland State Delegates Marc Korman (D-16), Charlotte Crutchfield (D-19), Bonnie Cullison (D-19), and Vaughn Stewart (D-19) ahead of the June 23 Democratic primary election.

With these endorsements, Milam has now secured the support of 17 current elected officials across Montgomery County.

Milam also announced the endorsement of the Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO, representing more than 150,000 union members and working families across the Washington metropolitan region.

Additional supporters of Milam’s campaign include former U.S. Labor Secretary Tom Perez, Maryland State Senator Nancy King (D-39), and Maryland State Delegates Jheanelle Wilkins (D-20), Greg Wims (D-39), Lesley Lopez (D-39), and Aaron Kaufman (D-18).

“I’m proud to endorse Will because he is a proven leader who understands public safety and has a clear vision for strengthening the Sheriff’s Office,” said Senator Smith.

“I’m honored to have earned the trust of elected officials, labor unions, and community leaders who care deeply about the future of Montgomery County,” said Milam. “These endorsements reflect a shared commitment to safe communities, accountable leadership, and supporting the law enforcement officers who serve our residents every day.”

About Will Milam

Will Milam is a Poolesville resident and a 22-year law enforcement veteran who previously served as Chief Assistant Sheriff of Prince George’s County. He is running to strengthen public safety across Montgomery County by addressing staffing challenges, holding domestic abusers accountable, and building strong partnerships with county youth, law enforcement, and community organizations.
